Mets Win 8-3 drop the House on KC which is YOU

Let's discuss the exciting victory against the Royals from last night. I was fortunate enough to see Senga's starting performance, but unfortunately, I had to leave before the fireworks. The Mets' late-game experience was quite eventful, with a 90-minute weather delay at the beginning. I was also able to witness a remarkable comeback from our injured pitcher, Senga, who truly showcased his skills.

Regarding what I observed, it appears that Senga is on a path of recovery. It seems that Kodai pitched four innings, allowing no runs and achieving four strikeouts, with his forkball being particularly effective. He seemed quite sharp following the hamstring issue, demonstrating no signs of hesitation or any lack of readiness.

The Royals' hitters exhibited a high swing-and-miss rate. The third-inning strikeout of Caglianone with the bases loaded is a concern. If Senga maintains this level of performance, our rotation may present challenges.

I can't believe I missed that, but you HAVE to hear this! The show was insane! 8th Inning Voodoo: Bases loaded, Vientos up to bat. Royals put in Estevez? HUGE mistake. Vientos SMASHES a 3-run double to right-center. 4-3 METS. Total chaos. 9th Inning Nuclear Option: Lindor HITS a 3-run homer (19th HR). Soto goes back-to-back with a SOLO shot! Six pairs this year – they totally feed off each other. Vientos? CLUTCH AF. Lindor? GET THAT MAN PAID.

The Royals totally blew it last night, right? Witt Jr. hit a homer, but then their bullpen just fell apart. Steven Cruz walked three Mets in a row in the 8th, and that overturned stolen base was karma. Tolbert was off the bag, and they lost. Their bullpen is a total disaster. Seven earned runs in four innings? Seriously embarrassing.

KEY TAKEAWAYS (NO FLUFF)

1. Vientos > Mark’s 3-run double? SEASON-DEFINING. Dude’s earning ABs.

2. Lindor’s Leadership: When he homers, we WIN. 19 HRs – he’s the ENGINE.

3. Bullpen Redemption: After Cruz walked the park, Brazobán & crew slammed the door. 4 IP, 0 runs. RESPECT.

4. Wacha Got LUCKY:5 IP, 1 ER? Please. We stranded RISP all night against him.

📣 FINAL WORD

Amazin’s didn’t quit. Down 3-1 late? STORMED BACK. That’s METS BASEBALL, folks. We needed this. BADLY. Tonight? Montas on the bump. TAKE THE SERIES.

👉 Next: Royals vs. Mets – Tonight 4:10 PM ET. Frankie Montas vs. Lorenzen. BE THERE. I'll be up this time tonight to watch hopefully LFGM.
